Serving Tray

I'm throwing a brunch wedding next week for my sister and I put together a fruit tray and wishes to place the apples as a selection. The only thing is that they serve brown too quickly. I know that lemon juice is often used, but how do you use and do you soak them in juice or just some of them? How long it lasts?
soak them in apple juice rather than covering all installments until your ready to extinguish
