How can I find French Bulldog breeder in eastern Canada, and is it wrong to send the dogs?

I'm looking a French bulldog puppy to buy and I can not find breeders in or around my area. I wondered if it would be morally unacceptable to buy a puppy from somewhere in the United States and shipped to Montreal. I heard that some puppies dying in the zone cargo planes, because it is very cold. Does anyone know if it is safe to ship puppies and if there are any French Bulldog breeders in my area? Thank you.

Contact your local kennel club in the province. Many of them have Web sites listing breeders. Later I found a breeder in New Brunswick, if you want to contact me.
