What equipments and materials do you need to make ceramic vases, pots, mugs, and etc?

You'll need a potter's wheel, clay, clay tools for shaping the clay, under glazes and glazes, and a kiln. Potter's wheels come in manual -which you operate by kicking a wheel with your foot, That becomes very tiring and people will sell the manual wheels for less than retail price.

Automatic potter's wheels make the work much easier, but are more expensive. They are not often sold at less than retail. You'll have to decide which is best for your purposes.

There are many kinds of clay and that effects the end product. How you select the clays for each product is something for you to experiment with and can discuss with your professors. Clay tools are very individual. Picking them is a personal choice.

The kiln can be something small enough to do a single mug all the way up to kilns the size of a small house. This is where you will spend the most money. They can take a lot of room if you work at home, too.
