What paint to use on a clay pot?

I plan to make a Chinese style teapot for my pottery classes. I want whether a task could be used to make the image (flowers) on the pot or a mat would work better. I also want to have the whole pot have a clear gloss finish. Last semester I had my picture with more glaze and then wax before putting a layer of transparent glaze over and he proved perfect. This time, I do not want the frozen peak, therefore, whether it be used for photos. Can I use the same process I done before with the waxing? Thank you for the suggestions it might help. you can use a wax resist or resist a spot to design before frosting. if you do this, the clear gloss glaze will go everywhere but on the design. designs that will make the color of clay. if you want the drawings to have color, but a dull, you need to make a two-step process - First, use a matte glaze for draw / Paint. then bisque fire it to fix the color in. then add a wax or other resist during the painted acres (using a small brush to be as accurate as possible) and enamel, and the teapot. drawings which would have the color of the glaze, but not brilliant enamel usually because it would not be where resistance was (which, hopefully you able to get the right on the colored part.) ask your teacher for advice on various resists. He probably has a few options for you in the classroom. If you regularly use as a stain an oxide in a glaze, you should make a test tile and see how it came out. different dyes and varnishes on the clay body all combine differently.
